What support does your fixture need?
Pitchside therapy describes support delivered alongside a sports fixture. When you enquire, explain whether you need a physiotherapist, sports injury support or another defined role. Include the sport, participant ages, competition level, venue and timings rather than relying on the phrase alone.
A physiotherapist, sports therapist and sport rehabilitator are different professions. Their registration, qualifications and scope of practice are not interchangeable. The professional and organiser need a shared understanding of the responsibilities before a booking is confirmed.
Therapy and medical cover have different requirements
Sports injury support should not be assumed to meet every immediate-care or event medical requirement. Describe the full role and check the requirements that apply to your sport and event. PitchMedic reviews the qualifications and experience relevant to the specific fixture.
We welcome interest from physiotherapists, paramedics, sports therapists and sport rehabilitators. Registration or membership checks depend on the profession, including HCPC, SST and BASRaT where relevant. Registering interest does not make every profession available for booking in the current beta.
