Sports therapists for matches and games

Describe the match, not just the job title

Tell us the sport, venue, date, participant ages and level of competition. Explain the expected duties, arrival time and finish time. A single game, a training session and a tournament may involve different timings and responsibilities, so make those details clear in your request.

If you are searching for a sports therapist for games, check whether that profession and scope of practice meet your event requirements. The terms sports therapist, physiotherapist and pitchside medic describe different roles; they are not automatic substitutes for one another.

Relevant qualifications and experience

PitchMedic reviews the registration or membership relevant to each profession, supporting qualifications, insurance and pitchside experience. For sports therapists, this includes SST membership where required. Relevant immediate-care training is reviewed for the course, level, expiry and role suitability.

An uploaded certificate or completed profile is not a verification decision. A professional is offered a role only after the appropriate checks for that fixture. Organisers remain responsible for the event plan and applicable governing-body requirements.

Current availability and professional interest

Sports therapists can register interest and complete their professional profile. This does not mean sports-therapist bookings are available for every fixture in the beta. PitchMedic confirms the supported role and booking access before a booking can proceed.

Organisers can create an account and describe the game they need covered. If you are unsure which type of support is appropriate for your request, contact PitchMedic support about the booking process. Professionals seeking freelance opportunities can use the professionals page; work and earnings are not guaranteed.
